MusicBox Desktop System

Recording engineers use near-field systems to mix because they take the room out of the equation. They allow you to hear deep into the soundstage and pick up minute detail. The high-end near-field experience is yours by simply adding a musicBox system to your desktop. Music is recreated like in the studio with a wide, deep, solid image.
You’ll be amazed when you plug your iPod into the musicBox’s built-in pure digital iPod dock. Virtually all iPod docks today pass only the "analog" signal from your iPod. Not so with the musicBox! The musicBox sends the digital "1's and 0's" from your iPod directly to its own internal high performance DAC. And that's how your iPod - plus the musicBox - produces sound to rival high-end audiophile CD players. In addition to the dock, a special vacuum tube preamplifier circuitry and the MOSFET power amplifier gives you a recipe for magic.
The musicBox has many digital inputs for your sources. USB for a local computer, or if you need audio distribution throughout your home, it has inputs for Apple TV, Sonos, Squeeze Box or anything else that’s digital. It even has an analog input for “old school” turntables or tuners.
