Pacific Heights Condo
Superior Sound and Video
To do this we started with a great speaker, the Wilson Audio Watt/Puppy 7.
The speaker was custom finished to match the color palette the designer chose. We ran within the walls the highest quality CL-rated in-wall speaker cable available.
The electronics, all Mark Levinson, were house in an adjacent room behind custom cabinet doors. We used a 10" Control 4 touch screen to enable the use of a wireless remote solution with range throughout the floor.
For the bedroom we needed to design a way to easily conceal the High Definition plasma and speakers but still perform as a true 5.1 theater system. Music Lovers and Applegate Tran Interiors designed a built in cabinet that conceals the plasma, components and speakers while the system is not being used. A simple sliding door reveals our client's state-of-the-art surround sound system.
Control Panel
The entire first floor is conveniently controlled with this Control 4 10.5" wireless touch panel. The display takes advantage of your wireless home network to ensure effective range throughout the floor.
Speakers
The custom finished Watt/Puppy 7's by Wilson Audio compliment the interior and provide the purest sound available. CL-rated in-wall cable keep the sound and the floor clear.
Plasma Display
A state-of-the-art 42" Fujitsu High Definition plasma display is elegantly concealed behind custom wood cabinetry hiding all cables.
Components
Mark Levinson and Arcam provide the components including Levinson's no. 383 integrated amp, no. 390s CD player, and the DV 78 DVD player from Arcam
Speakers
Joseph Audio RM7si MkII speakers power the three front channels and are hidden by custom integrated screens
Bedroom
This bedroom beautifully integrates a powerful home theater without overpowering the delicate nature of the interior design. A 50" Fujitsu plasma is revealed and all components, speakers and cables are hidden from view.
5.1 Surround Sound
Paradigm provides the rear speakers in this true 5.1 home theater system. Music Lovers installed the seamless in-ceiling speakers and custom finished the grill and setting to perfectly complement the interior designer's vision for the space.
Guest Bedroom
The guest bedroom features a crystal clear 26" LCD flat panel display from Sharp. The hidden components allow guests to enjoy the simple elegance of the room while watching their favorite movies.
Components
Quietly concealed in an adjacent hallway cabinet, the Arcam Home Theater Receiver and DVD Player provide true 5.1 channel sound and deliver the premium cinematic experience our clients were after.
