The San Francisco location of Music Lovers exemplifies a continuation and extension of a twenty-five-year tradition: providing the Bay Area with the highest level of service and performance when it comes to high-end audio and video solutions for the home. We felt that with only one location we did not have the “surface area” required to provide all of the Bay Area with the same level of commitment to excellence in sight and sound.

In early 2005 we began building the second Music Lovers at the corner of Bush and Steiner. Starting with the humble beginnings of six pillars and some concrete flooring, our fearless leaders Jae and Hugh toiled and toiled until they had developed one of the most elegant showrooms for audio and video products in California. By November of that year, we opened our doors to the public.

The store itself covers over four thousand square feet of showroom floor, split evenly between audio and video. Two rooms are devoted entirely to two-channel stereo, while another two are set-up as fully automated home theaters. The final room serves as an example of the combination of both theater and stereo, proof-positive that it can be done.

While the décor and ambience provide an elegant backdrop, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will prove to you that expertise need not be accompanied by snobbery. They will humbly guide you along a path that places you in front of a system you’ll be enjoying for years to come.

We welcome you to drop by any time, but humbly suggest you call ahead to make an appointment, should you be interested in something specific. While we do have quite a few rooms available, it helps to plan ahead and set aside whatever it is you’d like to see or hear.
