Hegel Music Systems is an award-winning Norwegian hifi company founded in 1988 by Bent Holter. Hegel manufactures integrated amplifiers, power amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs based on scientific research with the main goal of lowering distortion as much as possible. Hegel developed a technology called SoundEngine to lower distortion in their electronics which is one of many patents that they hold.
