Drawing directly from the engineering developed for the flagship Suprema and Amati Supreme, the Olympica III G3 introduces an entirely new acoustic platform while preserving the timeless craftsmanship, natural musicality, and unmistakable Italian design that have defined the Olympica name for more than a decade.
 
Handcrafted in Vicenza, Italy, the Olympica III G3 continues the collection's signature asymmetrical lute-shaped cabinet, a design that is as functional as it is beautiful. By reducing internal standing waves and controlling unwanted resonance, the enclosure provides an ideal foundation for exceptional sonic accuracy while maintaining the elegant proportions that have become synonymous with Sonus faber. New 45-degree herringbone wood veneers, CNC-machined aluminum trim, and a refined top plate inspired by the company's flagship loudspeakers further elevate both its appearance and craftsmanship.
 
While its exterior reflects Sonus faber's heritage, nearly every acoustic element inside the Olympica III G3 has been redesigned. Incorporating more than ten engineering advancements over the previous generation, the new platform delivers greater transparency, lower distortion, faster transient response, and a noticeably larger, more precisely focused soundstage. These improvements allow the loudspeaker to reproduce music with remarkable realism while remaining faithful to Sonus faber's Natural Sound philosophy.
 
At the heart of the Olympica III G3 is a newly developed 6.5-inch Camelia midrange driver derived from the flagship Suprema. Its distinctive non-circular diaphragm geometry minimizes the resonances common to traditional cone designs, allowing vocals and acoustic instruments to emerge with exceptional purity and tonal neutrality. A solid aluminum phase plug paired with an integrated damping ring improves airflow and wave propagation, creating smoother frequency response and more consistent performance throughout the listening environment.
 
The Camelia midrange is joined by two completely redesigned 6.5-inch woofers that deliver deeper extension, tighter bass control, and greater dynamic authority without sacrificing speed or articulation. Supporting every driver are Sonus faber's patented organic die-cast aluminum baskets, whose asymmetrical structure improves airflow while reducing unwanted reflections and mechanical coloration for a more open, effortless presentation.
 
Exclusive to the Olympica III G3 and V G3 is a dedicated internal acoustic chamber for the tweeter and midrange. Constructed with a recycled cork damping structure first developed for the Suprema, this carefully engineered enclosure absorbs unwanted internal energy while preserving the natural texture, resolution, and tonal balance that define Sonus faber's signature sound.
 
The newly developed Phase Coherent crossover with IFF Paracross topology precisely aligns the acoustic output of every driver, preserving timing relationships across the frequency spectrum.
