The AudioSolutions Vantage C is the flagship center-channel loudspeaker in the Vantage 5th Anniversary series. Designed for high-end home theater systems, it uses the same cabinet construction and driver technologies as the Vantage 5th Anniversary floorstanding models, but is configured specifically for center-channel duty.
 
At 1191mm wide and weighing 75kg, the Vantage C is a substantial speaker built around five drivers: a 2.5cm beryllium-dome tweeter, two 17cm Egyptian Papyrus midrange drivers and two 18cm SPC paper-cone bass drivers. Its 92dB sensitivity and 4-ohm impedance make it well suited to high-output theater systems where dialogue clarity, dynamics and consistency with the main channels are priorities.
 
Five-Driver Configuration
The Vantage C uses a symmetrical five-driver arrangement with the beryllium tweeter positioned between two 17cm Egyptian Papyrus midrange drivers and two 18cm SPC paper-cone bass drivers.
 
The dedicated midrange drivers handle the critical vocal region, while the two bass drivers provide additional output and low-frequency extension. The symmetrical layout is designed to maintain consistent dispersion across the listening area.
 
Beryllium Tweeter and Mini Horn
A customized 2.5cm beryllium-dome tweeter handles the high frequencies. Beryllium combines low moving mass with high rigidity, allowing the diaphragm to operate cleanly at high frequencies.
 
AudioSolutions uses its mini-horn loading around the tweeter to increase efficiency and reduce distortion in the critical upper-frequency region.
 
Siberian Birch Plywood Cabinet
The Vantage C uses SBP (Siberian Birch Plywood) for the internal labyrinth structure, sidewalls and curved sections of the cabinet.
 
The enclosure uses an 18-layer sandwich construction consisting of thin, directionally oriented wood layers combined with HDF in critical areas. Three types of glue with different cured hardness are used throughout the structure.
The curved plywood surfaces retain controlled internal stress, which AudioSolutions uses to help dissipate vibrational energy and suppress cabinet resonances. The cabinet was modeled specifically to produce a highly rigid structure with very low mechanical coloration.
 
Multi-Layer Cabinet Construction
The Vantage C uses multiple materials and varying wall thicknesses to control cabinet vibration. Rather than relying on a single enclosure material, the layered structure distributes mechanical energy through materials with different resonance characteristics.
 
The result is a rigid enclosure designed to remain quiet when the five drivers are operating at high output levels.
 
Crossover
The Vantage C uses crossover points at 200Hz and 8kHz. High-grade Jantzen crossover components are used in the network.
 
WBT bi-wiring terminals provide separate connections to the crossover sections, allowing the speaker to be configured for bi-wiring.
 
5th Anniversary Finish
The cabinet is finished with a durable top coat made from crushed stone powder and polyurethane lacquer. This creates a matte, stone-like surface with subtle glittering particles.
 
The rear of the cabinet and portions of the side panels use high-grade 3D hexa-textured vinyl. The vivid exterior outlines are color customizable.
 
Available finishes include Wet Stone Grey with customizable vivid outlines, Anniversary White and Anniversary Black.
