The Eversolo DMP-A10 brings together a reference-grade music streamer, DAC, digital-to-digital converter, and fully balanced analog preamplifier in a single component. Designed as the central source for a high-performance audio system, the DMP-A10 combines extensive connectivity, sophisticated digital processing, advanced room correction, high-resolution playback, and a carefully engineered analog stage.
At the heart of the DMP-A10 is an ESS ES9039PRO DAC paired with an XMOS XU316 audio processor. The architecture supports stereo PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit and native DSD512, allowing the DMP-A10 to handle virtually every modern high-resolution music format. Eversolo specifies extremely low levels of noise and distortion, with the balanced analog output achieving a THD+N of less than 0.000078% and a dynamic range and SNR greater than 130dB.
The DMP-A10's fully balanced analog preamplifier section uses a precision R-2R resistor and relay-based volume control. Rather than relying on conventional digital attenuation, the volume network operates in the analog domain, allowing the DAC to remain in its optimal bypass state. The system provides precise volume adjustment, including 0.1dB left/right balance control, while XLR and RCA analog inputs allow the DMP-A10 to function as the control center for a complete system.
Eversolo has given the DMP-A10 an unusually sophisticated clocking system. Its custom OCXO clock system maintains the audio oscillators at a constant operating temperature to minimize frequency fluctuations caused by temperature changes. Eversolo specifies jitter below 50fs, providing the digital system with an exceptionally precise timing reference.
Power supply design is equally important. The DMP-A10 uses two low-noise linear power supplies, with separate power delivery for the digital and analog circuitry. Eversolo specifies analog power-supply ripple below 30µVrms, while patented intelligent switching technology allows the unit to automatically accommodate worldwide AC voltages from 110–240V without manually changing a voltage selector.
The DMP-A10 also incorporates extensive electrical isolation throughout its architecture. High-speed isolation separates different circuit boards to minimize the transmission of noise and interference between digital and audio circuitry. The USB audio input and output are electrically isolated as well, using iCoupler® technology to transmit and resynchronize both data and clock information while reducing jitter and the effects of grounding loops.
As a network streamer, the DMP-A10 provides access to a broad selection of music services including TIDAL, Qobuz, HIGHRESAUDIO, Amazon Music, Deezer, TuneIn, Apple Music, KKBOX and others. It also supports Roon Ready, Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Squeeze Connect, DLNA and other network streaming protocols.
Local music libraries can be managed directly through the DMP-A10. Two USB 3.0 ports provide connections for external storage, while two internal M.2 NVMe SSD slots allow up to 8TB of storage per slot. The system supports network storage through SMB, NFS, UPnP and WebDAV, as well as Plex, Emby and Jellyfin, making the DMP-A10 capable of serving as the central library for a large collection of high-resolution music.
The DMP-A10 can also function as a high-performance digital hub. Digital sources can be connected through two optical inputs, two coaxial inputs, HDMI ARC, and an isolated USB-B input. Digital outputs include isolated USB, optical, and coaxial connections, allowing the DMP-A10 to be used as a digital transport with an external DAC when desired.
Its DDC functionality provides another level of flexibility. Digital signals received through USB, coaxial, optical, or HDMI ARC can be processed through the DMP-A10's DSP and then sent to either digital or analog outputs. Even analog sources can be digitized through the built-in high-performance ADC at resolutions up to 192kHz, allowing them to take advantage of the DMP-A10's EQ and processing capabilities.
For systems using one or more subwoofers, the DMP-A10 provides two dedicated subwoofer outputs. Stereo and mixer modes are available, with independent adjustment of subwoofer gain, crossover frequency, and delay. This allows the DMP-A10 to become an important part of the subwoofer integration process rather than simply providing an unprocessed signal. The subwoofer function is available for PCM signals below 192kHz.
Eversolo's evotune™ PRO room correction system provides extensive tools for optimizing the DMP-A10 to a specific listening environment. Using a measurement microphone or a compatible smartphone microphone, the system analyzes room acoustics and creates correction filters designed to address frequency-response problems caused by the listening environment. A 10-band parametric EQ provides additional adjustment of frequency, gain, and Q, while FIR filter import, loudness control, and dynamic compression are also supported.
The DMP-A10 also incorporates CD playback and ripping when connected to a USB optical drive. Its data-verification and error-correction system is designed to preserve CD audio data accurately, while the integrated CD application can retrieve album and track information and automatically organize the resulting music files.
A large 6.5-inch LCD touchscreen provides direct access to the DMP-A10's music library, streaming services, settings, album artwork, playback information, and VU meters. The system can also be controlled through Eversolo's mobile applications, a Bluetooth/infrared remote, or a web browser. A trigger output provides coordinated control of compatible downstream equipment.
For network connectivity, the DMP-A10 includes Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi, and an SFP fiber network interface. The SFP connection allows the network connection to be electrically isolated from the rest of the system when used with a compatible SFP module, providing another option for minimizing network-related electrical interference.
The DMP-A10 is housed in a CNC-machined aluminum chassis measuring 430 × 310 × 117mm. Its substantial enclosure, large touchscreen, extensive connectivity, and carefully isolated internal architecture give it the presence and functionality expected from a flagship digital component.
