Eversolo Play All-in-One Streaming Amplifier
The Eversolo Play is an all-in-one streaming amplifier that combines a high-resolution network music player, DAC, Class D integrated amplifier, phono preamplifier, and extensive digital and analog connectivity in a compact chassis. Designed to provide a complete high-fidelity system from a single component, Play can connect directly to passive loudspeakers while also supporting a subwoofer, turntable, television, external digital sources, and an external USB DAC.
 
At its core, Play combines an AKM AK4493SEQ 32-bit DAC with a Class D amplifier delivering 60W per channel into 8Ω and 110W per channel into 4Ω. It supports high-resolution playback up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit, while its integrated streaming platform provides access to services including TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, HIGHRESAUDIO, and others.
 
High-Resolution Streaming Platform
Play incorporates a multi-core ARM-based streaming platform designed specifically for high-resolution music playback. Music can be streamed directly from integrated services or played from local network storage and connected USB drives.
 
The platform supports Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA, and other network streaming protocols. Eversolo's EOS audio engine is designed to bypass conventional sample-rate conversion, allowing digital audio to remain at its native sampling rate throughout the playback process.
 
The system supports a broad range of file formats, including DSD, DSF, DFF, SACD ISO, MP3, APE, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, AAC, NRG, and CUE.
AK4493SEQ DAC
 
The Play uses AKM's AK4493SEQ 32-bit DAC, incorporating AKM's VELVETSOUND™ architecture. The DAC supports stereo DSD512 and PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit.
 
Eversolo's EVC volume control engine uses a dedicated volume adjustment algorithm designed to minimize errors as the volume level changes while preserving the shape and resolution of the digital signal.
 
The DAC section has a specified THD of less than 0.0037% at 5W and 1kHz, while the signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 109dB, A-weighted.
 
Class D Integrated Amplifier
The Play incorporates a high-efficiency Class D amplifier capable of delivering 60W RMS per channel into 8Ω and 110W RMS per channel into 4Ω.
 
The amplifier uses PurePath™ Ultra HD technology and an integrated feedback architecture with high-speed gate-driver error correction. The design is intended to provide low distortion and stable operation while maintaining a compact chassis.
 
A damping factor greater than 107 provides control over connected loudspeaker drivers, while channel crosstalk is specified at less than -108dB.
 
Integrated MM/MC Phono Stage
Play includes a dedicated phono input supporting both moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges. This allows a turntable to be connected directly without requiring a separate external phono preamplifier.
 
The phono stage provides 60dB of gain for MM cartridges and 74dB for MC cartridges. Input sensitivity is 5mV for MM and 0.5mV for MC, with RIAA response specified at ±0.5dB from 20Hz to 20kHz.
 
Smart Bass Management
A dedicated subwoofer output allows Play to be integrated with an active subwoofer. The crossover frequency can be adjusted from 40Hz to 500Hz, allowing the main loudspeakers and subwoofer to be integrated according to the requirements of the system.
 
Play also incorporates bass management and phase adjustment capabilities to help optimize the transition between the main speakers and subwoofer.
 
Professional EQ
Play includes both a 15-band graphic equalizer and a 10-band parametric equalizer. Left and right channels can be adjusted independently, providing detailed control over system response.
 
Twenty-three genre presets are also available, including settings for genres such as classical, jazz, blues, and EDM.
 
Extensive Digital Connectivity
Play provides HDMI ARC, optical, coaxial, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.
 
HDMI ARC supports stereo PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit, allowing Play to function as the audio component for a television system.
 
Optical and coaxial inputs support stereo PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit and DSD64 via DoP.
 
The USB Audio output can send native stereo DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit to an external USB DAC. The USB output follows the USB Audio Class standard and is intended for compatible UAC DAC devices.
 
A coaxial digital output supports PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit and DSD64 via DoP.
 
Bluetooth and Network Connectivity
Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless connectivity with support for SBC and AAC codecs.
 
For wired networking, Play features Gigabit Ethernet with a 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 connection. Dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi is also included.
Two USB 3.0 ports provide high-speed connectivity for external storage devices and other compatible USB equipment. The USB 3.0 OTG interface allows an external hard drive to be connected directly to expand the local music library.
 
5.5-Inch Touchscreen
A 5.5-inch LCD touchscreen provides direct access to music playback, inputs, settings, volume control, and system functions.
 
Play can also be controlled through the Eversolo Control application for Android, iPhone, and iPad.
 
The system includes 4GB of DDR4 memory and 32GB of eMMC internal storage.
 
Compact Aluminum Chassis
The Play uses a compact aluminum-alloy chassis measuring 230 × 230 × 75mm. Its small footprint allows it to be incorporated into systems where conventional full-size components would be impractical.
 
The compact chassis combines the streaming platform, DAC, preamplifier, phono stage, and power amplifier into a single component while retaining extensive connectivity for building a complete two-channel system.
 
Play CD Edition
Eversolo also offers the Play CD Edition, which adds an integrated CD-ROM drive to the same all-in-one platform. The standard Play does not include the CD drive.
The Play CD Edition weighs approximately 2.9kg, compared with approximately 2.6kg for the standard Play.
