The Marantz MCR 60n is a compact all-in-one hi-fi system that brings CD playback, network streaming, a built-in MM phono stage, FM/AM radio, HDMI eARC, Bluetooth, and integrated stereo amplification into a single chassis. With 65 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the MCR 60n can drive a wide range of compact and bookshelf speakers while taking up considerably less space than a traditional component system.
 
The MCR 60n is designed for listeners who want access to multiple music sources without assembling a rack full of separate components. Connect a turntable, play CDs, stream from HEOS, listen to the radio, or connect a television through HDMI eARC. A subwoofer output is also provided for adding deeper low-frequency extension.
 
CD, Vinyl and Streaming
The built-in CD player handles standard CDs as well as CD-R/RW discs containing WMA and MP3 files. The integrated MM phono stage provides a direct connection for a turntable, while the network section supports high-resolution music streaming through HEOS.
 
Network playback supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD up to 11.2MHz. The MCR 60n is also Roon Ready and supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Deezer, Amazon Music, Pandora, TuneIn Internet radio and AirPlay 2.
 
HDMI eARC for TV
HDMI eARC provides a simple way to connect the MCR 60n to a television and use the system for movies, shows and games. HDMI CEC allows basic system control using a compatible TV remote.
 
An optical digital input is also provided for connecting an additional digital source. The optical input can automatically power on the MCR 60n when a signal is detected.
 
Flexible Speaker Configuration
The MCR 60n can operate as a conventional two-channel amplifier delivering 65 watts per channel into 4 ohms. It also supports Speaker A/B operation, allowing a second pair of speakers to be connected, with individual volume control. Bi-amping and parallel BTL operation provide additional flexibility for compatible speaker systems.
 
A dedicated subwoofer preamp output makes it easy to add a powered subwoofer, while the assignable main preamp output can be used with an external amplifier or another system component.
 
Compact Design
Measuring only 11 inches wide and 4.4 inches high, the MCR 60n is small enough for a bookshelf, media cabinet or desktop system. A three-line low-noise OLED display provides source and playback information, while the front panel maintains Marantz's current design language.
